Is it Thursday Already?

Image
It's Wednesday and I haven't written anything for my blog this week. Whoops. Classes keeping me busy! We've been going to the gym quite often and I am just killing it there! Now that I basically know all the exercises that Dan and I do we work pretty well together. Always sweatin up a storm, well as much as I can- I over worked my hamstring last week and it's really been hurting so I'm trying to stretch it back out. We've been watching White Collar and HOLY COW freaking out it's so good. I called one of the surprises but I have no idea what'll happen next. Seriously it's so good and it's not full of pointless drama. I've been watching Pretty Little Liars and I'm chomping at the bit for the next episode! So good. And then THIS happened sometime this week. Monday maybe? Dumpage of snow. The plow didn't eve know what to do with it because it was coming down so fast to they made piles where ever they could. This was me when I realized it was Friday Corgnelius Okay I will be the first to admit that I have a problem and that I'm obsessed with someone else's dog. I know that! And I'm not ashamed. I hope one day I have a corgi that looks JUST LIKE Corgnelius because Corgi's all look different but he's the cutest. I really enjoy realizing it's Friday. It just makes my day better. I spent most of the morning writing this horrendous paper for my computer basics class. The topic wasn't that bad but the paper had to be 2 pages (I know, not that bad but wait!), single spaced (ah! Whut?), 11 point font (are you kidding me?), Callibri font (which is smaller than Times New Roman), with the margins .75". Are. You. Kidding. Me? All those stipulations just made it that much harder! It was basically a 5 paged, double spaced, 12 pt TNR, 1" margins paper. I wouldn't mind for any other class but this is my 1 credit class that's only half a semester .

Monday Date

Highlight of my Monday? Going out to lunch with this man. To this place: And eating this  Dessert Pizzas are seriously incredible. Kudos to who ever thought that up! Other highlights included: no  class for Dan, doing homework, napping and working out. Monday was a successful day. Tuesday was nothing out of the ordinary. Classes and homework with a few occasional eating break but Tuesday night was fun! I went to our ward's Relief Society activity and it was really fun. I got to know more ladies in the ward and I enjoyed it. It's really refreshing being around people closer to my age! I'm totally hooked on Pretty Little Liars. Oh my heck I feel it's like my guilty pleasure but I don't always feel that guilty... anyways I love it and I'm so glad that ABC Family has the shows online like the day after because we don't have that channel. Things are going great in the Burg. It's been so cold but it hasn't snowed in a while -c

Thursday  Dan left for work and I fell back asleep and had the craziest dream! I dreamed that I got up and walked into the living room and the couch was gone! Before Dan had left for work he put it outside in the snow as a joke and I was so mad! Then I really woke up and saw the couch in the living room and wasn't mad at him anymore :) Oh and I forgot to mention that on Monday night Dan was brilliant and we made s'mores with snowmen peeps, mini graham crackers, and a cookies and cream Hershey bar. It was so good, like a party in my mouth! We roasted them on the stove burners and then I made them explode in the microwave because it's just too much fun. Look at my To Do list now! Endless ToDo List

Saturday night Brookee came to visit! She was already in Pokey and just made the rest of the trip up to see friends! We had a great time catching up and slept on our wonderful futon! (old pictures but I forgot to take any!) We all woke up to a wonderful surprise. No power . Awesome haha. I think it went out sometime in the early morning. Dan was planning to get up early and do some homework but we didn't have internet and we didn't have phone service. Later Dan got up, showered in the dark, and got ready for class just in case they were having class. We got word by text from the school that classes were canceled until 10:15 and that if you're cold, go to the BYUI Center. We were cold, but not that cold. We ha no heat, lights, cell phone service and internet until about 9:15 am. My phone was barely working and I'm so glad I was able to get the university's texts because then classes were canceled until 11:30. that means no school for Dan. We all just layere

One down, twelve to go!

I don't remember which things happened which day so here's what we've been doing!  +     I watched Rio and Lost while Dan went to go play basketball. Good trade off I think :) +     Light grocery shopping and DI looking. I'm on the hunt for: TV stand, couch, coffee table and an end table if I'm lucky. +    Picked up my pell grant and scholarship money. I don't think I've ever been handed that much money at once. It was awesome. +     I made Daryl Conley's famous peanut butter cookie recipe. SO GOOD. +     I got into the class I was on a wait list for. Yay! +     Emailed our manager about our dishwasher. They're coming on Saturday to look at it. Yay! +     I took some cookies over to Stephanie and Parker! They live like 2 and a half minutes away from us and I had to go pick up Dan from work so I swung by with some nummies. Love those two! +     I slid into on coming traffic. Luckily I can drive in snow better than

Dan got his new phone. First thing he customizes (out of the many many things)? His ESPN app. Of course :) Haha I love it. He has the new Droid Razr M and I'm pretty sure he's loving it so far. The rest of the week was spent with more organizing and doing some class work. Most of my classes opened up online on Saturday so I was able to get a jump start on them. It seems like a lot of work now but that's how the beginning of semesters always are. Once a habit and a routine is formed I know I'll feel much better. I always think to myself, 'If I passed Chemistry with an A then I can do this class!' Chemistry was the hardest class I've taken and I still look back in awe that I survived. Oh and this picture is for my mom, after she told us many times we forgot about the card under the address on our package but luckily it was still readable :) We have a choice attend either the married student ward or the family ward. On Sunday we went to the married stu

New Year. New Apartment.

Well... basically a lot  has happened. Say hello to moving. We went to Idaho Falls and spent a lovely New Years Eve there staying with my aunt and uncle. Great food, great family, great friends. We went bowling in Rexburg with some friends - Ryker & Courtney and Tanner for New Years and Courtney and I smoked  the boys. I also beat my highest score with a 158, not too bad eh? It was really fun! We went to Ryker's parents' house and watched Despicable Me and it was so embarrassing because I was soo tired and it was only... 9:30pm. But I somehow made it to the New Year, celebrating with my parents, brother and my aunt and uncle :) We moved into our new apartment in Rexburg on Tuesday and it went rather well! Other than it was fa-reezing outside, we were able to get everything in the apartment. Since then it's been a constant pattern of unpacking and cleaning. I have the kitchen done! But we can't use the dishwasher yet so we are getting skilled at washing
