Growth Clothing size: 0-3 months Diaper size: 1 (he was in NB for around 2 weeks) 10 lbs 8 oz (70%), 22 in (75%) Likes Eating - he's becoming such a chunk!  His binky & bottles YAY! Tummy time Diaper changes Baths Dislikes Waiting for food General This past month has flown by and when I think back some of it is a blur ha! Life with a newborn. But overall it's been very good and enjoyable. The biggest thing is just juggling sleep and making sure Dan and I are getting enough of it. It's been amazing to have him home and he helps me get the sleep that I need. Carson is doing great- he's following all his growth curves, he's showing good developmental signs and gaining weight like it's nobody's business. He has a double chin and is starting to get cheeks and rolls, so cute! Brooks really loves Carson and although you can tell he's adjusting to another child in the home and having some growing pains, he's not ta

Postpartum Recovery

Overall my recovery from this birth, compared to Brooks, has been better and faster! Even right after I gave birth in the hospital I was already feeling really good. The uterine cramps while breastfeeding were more intense and more painful which my OB said increases with each child but I only felt that the first 2 days. Jan 12th a week before I gave birth and the last photo I took of me being pregnant Jan 18th at Maggie's birthday party the day before my water broke. I had no idea what was coming so soon! At the hospital in disbelief that it was baby time! Breastfeeding I wasn't very worried about breastfeeding this go around, Brooks and I were very successful at it and although every baby is differe

My OB did a gentle check at 38 weeks I was still at 2cm so I was happy he was staying put for now. On the 19th I had a lesson/game to do for all the primary kids in place of their while all the teachers attended a training and that night was an event called Great to Be 8 that I had all the food, programs and handouts for, plus I was speaking at. AND I just got a new presidency so they're all brand new. So when my water broke at 2am Sunday morning I laughed at the irony. I had just gotten up to use the bathroom and hadn't fallen back asleep yet. I rolled over and felt a gush and my eyes shot open. 'Are you kidding me? Today?!' I got up to inspect but deep down I knew my water broke, there was no way I
