Goodbye Boise

Image
Boise holds a special place in my heart mostly because I grew up around here. Living here with Dan has been one of our funnest adventures so far. I feel really nostalgic about leaving and I'm always going to love Boise! Down Town The location we chose to live was super ideal for us. Dan could walk or bike to campus in about 8 minutes and I took the car to meridian for work. I loved being down town and with in walking distance to almost everything. BSU football games, Steelheads games, Stampede games and not to mention having Ann Morrison Park as our backyard was a huge plus! Any events there we could just walk to and no parking issues for us! ahhh the greenbelt! Work I might start crying as I write this! This is going to be a hard thing for me to leave. I remember getting a random tip to apply to ICCU. After the whole interview process I didn't hear back for like a week and I was so sure I didn't get the job. When they let me know that I actually did

Spontaneous Weekend.

I've been so nostalgic lately and I will only warn you that it's getting worse! I'm constantly thinking, 'This is the last time I'll do this' or 'This is the last time I'll see this'  I get so sad when I think about leaving everything and everyone here. But then I hear from Dan how much he loves it in Texas already and I'm immediately excited. This week the most exciting thing here is that we celebrated my mom's birthday! Happy Birthday Mom! She wanted to go out to dessert so instead of putting candles in a cake, I put candles in her happy birthday pizza. It was her favorite kind from Papa Murphy's. Then I had a super chill night with the girls. We watched chick flicks, talked, ate lots of popcorn and scotcharoos- basically heavenly. And one of my friends got a new puppy! Ahhh I just want to eat him he's so cute! This is the best picture I could get because he's a puppy and goes a million miles per hour. We had

See ya in 3 Dan the Man!

This week we spent lots of time together and got Dan ready to leave on his three week trip. I knew I was going to miss him a lot so I had to get as much Dan time in as I could! For our last little date night we started out by playing tennis. He won the first... 6 games but then I turned into Serena and won 2! I have my moments of glory when it comes to tennis. They are usually small short bursts. Then we ate dinner and watched the Lego movie. I thought it was funny but I fell asleep and still have no idea how the movie ended... so there's that. Dan explained it to me but I still don't get it. We went to bed and woke up to see if we could see the northern lights. We gave it about 5 minutes then gave up! Saturday morning Dan the Man left and started his 3 week trip. He made it to Idaho Falls and hung out with some friends and stayed with family. Then today he's traveling to Colorado to stay with his parents for a few days. Eventually sometime next week he'll make it to

We moved! That's primarily what has been distracting me from blogging. This is what we've been up to! Moving, like I said. Hanging with Tucker Seeing the hot air balloons! So cool to have them in our back yard! The night glow! We went to the Hawks game sponsored by ICCU Dan brought these babies home from school! That's as close as I'll ever get! aaand more moving!  Thank you pinterest for this idea! Worked like a charm And we celebrated our 2 year anniversary! I can't believe it's been two years. It's been the best and I'm so happy to spend it with Dan the Man. For our anniversary we started the night out at Big Al's to go bowling. It was so fun and I even beat Dan on the first game! Afterwards we had dinner at the Matador. It was so delicious and their guac is awesome. Then we got dessert at Ben & Jerry's yum! And the best part is when the Wasden's offe
