Floods and Banana Bread

Our New Years was quiet this year. Originally Dan was supposed to be in Seattle all weekend for work. Last year I went with him and it was so fun! I didn't feel like flying with a baby just yet so we stayed home. Lucky for us Dan got all his work done and squeezed in on an earlier flight so he was home Saturday night. We were officially parents and went to bed anyways. However I was up right around midnight anyways with Brooks so that counts right? While my family in Idaho got pounded with record breaking snow, we had our own little Texas miracle. I introduce to you Texas Snow! Obviously it didn't last long but we definitely had to show Brooks, so I dressed him in a warm outfit with a cute bear hat. The only bad thing was that the hat didn't fit. I shoved it on there for the picture but it was a bit too snug. My poor baby has my big noggin! Sometimes it's hard getting clothes over his head and getting hats to fit. I was holding my friends&#

His belly has me cracking up! So cute! Growth Clothing: Mostly all 3 month, except 0-3 in pants Diaper size: 2, just moved up First baby giggles Discovered his hands and toes Likes Eating blankets Stretching after waking up White noise Looking at himself Showers Dislikes Being left alone Having his face covered Tummy time, still Sometimes these photoshoots... General My favorite thing this last month has been watching him change and grow literally overnight. One day he went from lifting his head to holding it up and now he wants to stand all the time. It's a little early for that bud. He used to be content laying back and lounging but now he wants to sit up. If I lay him down he will grunt and use all the muscles he has to try and sit up. It was so fun to see him discover his hands and toes. He's been sucking on his fingers a lot and I think he'll be a thumb sucker. He's wanting to grab and hold things. I can see him now look
