This is Important

So I've given this a lot of thought and with some advice from Dan the man, we've decided to go ahead and make our blog private from now on. This means that only those whose emails are on my readers list can view it. WHY Lately I've been thinking about the publicity and the openness of the internet and I don't want my security and my family's security to be a worry because the things I post on my blog. I realized that the reason I am blogging is; 1) For me as a journal and to record and read back on fun memories and 2) So family and friends can stay in contact and feel like we're apart of each other's lives even when we're far apart. Although the page views of all my Facebook friends and others reading my blog has been really nice (I'll admit, I like the numbers) I've realized that I enjoy some privacy more. SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? This means that if you would like to continue reading our blog that I am going to need your email address

We don't have to sit on the floor!

I'm not really sure where the week went. I feel like it's been so short but I've done so much. I think it's just because I'm learning so much at work! Funny story. On Sunday my scriptures accidentally became the sealed portion of the golden plates. Ryan got me these scriptures in Argentina and some how  pushed the zipper to far and it came right off... leaving my scriptures completely zipped. oops So I tried to put the zipper tag back on but it was so far up the spine I couldn't reach it. I finally settled and decided to split the zipper to get them open. After which I did a closer inspection to the inside of my scripture case. Sadly, I found that it was really falling apart :(     The glue is just old and isn't sticky anymore. So that's a bummer but I'll still keep them because they're so awesome. This week was filled with normal things, work, school, work, dinner, work and more school. Oh, and some football. We got our mi

My favorite song right now First time I heard it, it was blasting in my car. If I'm blasting a song the first time I hear it- Das a good song! Man it's so catchy, uplifting and dang good! I'm totally rocking out to it right now. Feel free to listen to it as you read this post! This week has been pretty good! WORK I am learning so much! I seriously love my job. I get to wear cute clothes, I have nice coworkers & managers, my employment makes me feel important, I feel like the skills I'm learning are life long skills and I feel super cool a lot of the time (even though I'm really not). I finally have my own cash drawer now that I have to balance. Before I was mostly working out of an automatic money counter and dispenser to take out the beginner's human error. Having a cash drawer makes me feel cool. Having some keys makes me feel cool.  Having my own stamps makes me feel cool. Learning about and being apart of security procedures makes me feel cool.

Down Towners

I have an acceptable excuse for our hiatus. Moving. and No internet. We moved in on Wednesday night. Amazing things happened that night! First the rain. They had flash flood warnings! Thankfully the rain down town stopped for us long enough to move in. I was so grateful that it let up right when we needed it too. Divine intervention right there. I just didn't want a wet mattress to sleep on that night. Second, the help. We had made announcements in our married student ward and I was so impressed with the help we got. The bishop came with his truck, another guy came with his truck, a couple came with their car, we filled our car and my parents’ pilot and we were off. We actually even had an extra truck from our neighbors that we didn't even need. We were just so glad for the help and it made the whole move in go smooth and quick. We started at 7 and were done unloading down town even before 8. Thank you to everyone that helped! Our apartment is awesome.

Labor Day Weekend

This weekend went by so quickly but it was so fun! Ryan and Kate were in town to celebrate the long weekend. We invited Parker and Stephanie over for dessert crepes and it was pretty delicious Saturday we spent the day out on the boat. We went up to Black Canyon and the weather was beautiful. After that Dan got his football in and we played some games together. And of course we needed Sonic! It was half price! Sunday was Dan's Birthday! He's 25! I love him so much and we tried to make his birthday rock. We went to our married student ward and I'm really starting to like it. Well not that I didn't like it but I'm making more friends and feeling more comfortable! I'm excited to be in this ward and play an active part! After church Dan grilled some yummy steaks and we celebrated his birthday! We also had a throwback and pulled out the DDR pads and had an awesome time. Why can't I just do that for cardio at the gym? Monday was Labo
