We started our December in the ER with Brooks. He was complaining of his stomach hurting. No fever or any other symptoms. I got him on the toilet incase that was the issue but I didn't have any luck. He couldn't sit still and was rolling around in pain for about an hour before his pediatrician told me to take him into the ER. We couldn't go to urgent care because they don't do ultrasounds and she was worried it was appendicitis. We were there for 4 hours and they did 3 ultrasounds and an xray. The only thing that came back was a possible hernia. We did an enema and decided it was just back up bowels. It was a very odd and sudden thing to have happen. Brooks was exhausted from the day but felt much better going home. Now he's been on medicine to help him bowels shrink so it doesn't happen again. Other than that little scare, we had a wonderful December! After we got home from Missouri we pulled out all the Christmas things and put the lights on the roof, got the
