Man I can't believe this day is finally here, no it's not my wedding day but it's the day I receive my endowment and go through the Temple for the first time. This is a big weekend for me. Going through the Temple and then being sealed to my best friend for time and all eternity. I have truly believed in my faith and my church my whole life and these two things have been at the top of my goal list forever. It's crazy to think I'm crossing the top two things off my goal list that I have spent a life time preparing for. I almost feel like an Olympian right before the Olympics. You spend your life preparing for something you want so badly and the day it finally comes it's so surreal. I feel as prepared as I can be. I'll be surrounded by friends, family and my  husband to-be, I know it'll be a wonderful experience! Thank goodness I'll have someone helping me all the time because I can be accident prone. I'm sure I would get lost or something haha.

That's all I've been thinking today! One week until the wedding and sadly that is the song that has been stuck in my head. Not the most wedding related song but I can't help it . It's there and it's stuck. Now hopefully you're singing it to. You're welcome! I'm getting married in 7 days! SEVEN. I'm so stoked and guess what? I'm not stressed at all. I'm not just saying that, I'm really not. Maybe it'll kick in later this next week but I'm pretty much done with everything. I'm so proud with everything we've done for this wedding! We've made a lot of things and are trying our best to do a beautiful wedding while only spending a reasonable amount of money.  My colors are a soft yellow, grey and light blue. That was my very first reaction when Dan said he’d been talking to a company there about an internship. Remember Tennessee? Well we haven’t heard anything from them and although we really wanted to go there, we’ve been getting really antsy about knowing where we’re going to live this fall. Dan is a perfect candidate for them in Tennessee but we’re kind of getting the impression that it takes them a while to get back to us. So like a responsible fiancé, Dan started looking other places to fill our need for an internship. Dan expressed interest in a company in Bakersfield, California and they returned that interest in him. After exchanging information and having a phone interview they offered him an internship for this fall!! Dan and I talked about it for a day and accepted it, so it’s official. We’re going to Bakersfield! And for those of you who are like me, this is where it is. Kinda in the middle of nowhere but apparently it’s the 3 rd biggest country music city. Like num

Like always if was fun. I think the best part of family reunions is just seeing relatives you haven’t seen in forever! This year we all came down to California somewhere outside of San Diego and stayed at a KOA camp site. We were spread out in groups around one side of the camp ground depending on if we were staying in a tent or cabin. We had a big white tent that we all congregated in for meals and other activities. WEDNESDAY We drove to Provo and spent the evening with Ry and Chelsey. Went to sonic :) THURSDAY We drove to Vegas and stayed in the Excalibur. That night we walked the strip and saw all the sights! FRIDAY After staying the night in vegas we got up and drove to the campground. We successfully arrived there, set up our tent, said hello to some family and made ourselves familiar with the campground. I was really impressed with it! It’s in the middle of a town but there were so many trees around that it really does feel like camping. The mornings we
