This week was busy! I feel like every night we had something fun to do! Monday night we had a mini fhe dinner with the Wasdens. Then played some games. We played this new game Blokus and liked it... probably because I beat Dan... :) It's a rare occasion for me. On our walk we also saw this pretty sunset! Tuesday night the Wasden's invited us to the... I don't even know what it's called... the gathering of all the candidates for the republican primaries where they all hang out, eat food, network, do interviews until the results! Blake's dad, Lawrence Wasden, has been the attorney general for a long time and was looking to be reelected once again. Every candidate has a room with delicious food and everyone hangs out, eats food and talks. It was really cool for me- I've never been to this before... I didn't know it existed or would have thought you needed a special invitation. It was fun though! Lawrence won so that was great too! I voted! This is

A Week of Firsts

This week was a big week for us! Lots of little things happened. Monday was my comp day this week so no work for me! I was surreal to have a Monday off but it was nice. Dan and I started the day with a run and then I got to choose what we were going to do. UMM... THE ZOO. No question. And it was glorious "We go to the Zoo and the first picture she takes is of a goose..." - Dan haha it's true! I thought it was funny the goose was wandering around the zoo. This is what happens when I try to take pictures. ...once again... ain't he cute though? Dan took this one :) Obviously " 'Murrica" - Dan I loved the Zoo! Animals are so cute :) Thursday was sushi night with some friends! It was a birthday/end of semester celebration. We went to IOU Sushi and it was delicious! Dan ate the chicken bowl but tried a few sushi rolls. He wasn't a fan of the ones with the salmon on top haha. Some people got the

Dan is done with his semester! Yahoo!! I'm so proud of him for finishing strong! He has one more class to take during the summer, it's only a three week class. And then he'll be DONE FOREVER. I started calling him "Masta' Dan" (in an asian voice) and he's like, I haven't graduated yet! haha it's fun. We went to Camille & Blake's house for a Cinco de Mayo get together. We showed up and saw this: How awesome is this? Baby stache. This week was pretty normal, work, class, homework. We went to Red Robin to celebrate Dan's semester being over and it was delicious like usual. I went out to breakfast with the branch and this new place called Le Peep. It's a brunch place and over all it was pretty good. You can tell the staff is still very new... but if you cut them some slack then they did pretty well. When I pulled into Le Peep's parking lot I reached into my bag to just take my wallet in. Nothing. I started digging aro

No One Mourns the WICKED

The COOLEST thing we did this week definitely had to be WICKED! My parents bought us tickets for Christmas and in December it seemed so far away, I couldn't believe it was finally here. I didn't know what to expect and therefore all my expectation were BLOWN OUT THE WINDOW. It was phenomenal! I loved it so much, I had such a good time. The actors and actresses were outstanding. The set, costumes and make up were flawless. The singing? Oh my goodness they were good! I loved the plot and how it ties into The Wizard of Oz. I got wrapped up in the story I didn't even know what time it was, the time just flew by. Dan enjoyed it as well so that means it has to be so good! Look how close we were! I would go again in a heart beat. Ah, so good! May 1st was Idaho Gives which we celebrated at work. It was awesome to see so many people give and support local charities. ICCU was even matching our donations which is amazing! After work we had dinner at one of Dan'
