Texan Christmas!

Finals week is over! Yaayyy! I survived! I'm seriously so happy my semester is over. Although I enjoyed what I was learning, Anatomy & Physiology was just a beast to try to absorb everything. When I took the first half on campus I found that doable. I had a teacher physically explaining everything to me for an hour three times a week. Then there was hands on models to help solidify the anatomy. I think I did pretty darn well for teaching myself and having 1 hour lecture on every topic! I definitely lowered my 'A+' only standards for this class. I was stressing out way too much over maintaining my perfect streak. With some persuading I realized right now it wasn't worth it and I'm so glad I relaxed a bit because I think my hair would have fallen out by the end of the semester. I'm one step closer to being done with school! Dan and I went to the Gift of Lights at the Texas Motor Speedway for FHE and it was awesome! It's a drive-through set up of light

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

One thing I love about blogging is that if I don't have time, I don't have to blog! It's been a whirlwind of a few weeks but I think after this week I'll be able to relax. So what have we been up to you ask? We got a Christmas tree!! ...and then it died. Crappy deal right! We bought another one haha. Here's Christmas tree number one. The second one looks basically the same. And I just realized I haven't posted pictures of our apartment... Ha maybe if it ever gets clean enough or I actually hang up our pictures I will. Here's glimpse of it I guess! We attended Dan's work Christmas party at a winery down town called Times Ten Cellar and it was really fun! They had a great dinner and everyone he works for seems to be super nice. It's a smaller office but I like that you can meet and get to know everyone. Everyone got a Christmas CD they put together with some of the most popular Christmas songs then the employes got two $50 giftcar

Monday night Dan’s parents were nice enough to take us out to dinner to celebrate Dan passing all 4 of his CPA exams. It was anywhere Dan chose to go so we met them in Grapevine and went to Love and War in Texas. It seemed to get really good reviews online so we wanted to try it out. I ordered ribs and it didn’t exactly specify how many so I just assumed like a third of a rack. It turned out to be the biggest full rack of ribs I’ve ever seen. It was longer than my forearm so it had to be over a foot long. It barely fit on the plate. My first thought? ‘ Can I have a box with this? ’ because I knew I couldn’t finish it all. I maybe got through a little less than half. It was well worth it because those were the best ribs I’ve ever had! I know I’ve been saying that a lot lately but I’m not trying to exaggerate. When I think of ribs throughout my whole life, Love and War is number one. The outside of the ribs had a nice charred spice coating, the ribs were literally falling off the bone-
