April

I've been so sick and tired with this pregnancy I didn't have the energy to write something so here is a photo dump with some explanations.
April Fools day! B and I had fun pulling some pranks on dad and each other.

We celebrated easter week with talking about what Jesus did the last week of his life. We had our own Last Supper with some super authentic (haha) food. Hummus, naan bread, fruits, nuts, veggies, cheese, chicken kabobs and grape juice.

During dinner Brooks fell backwards off his chair while holding a cup of grape juice, Dan somehow caught Brooks' head with his hand (while still holding a plate of food?). Brooks reacts and fling his whole cup of juice right at Dan. The rest of the juice bottle is somehow knocked over in the commotion as I grab Brooks, sit him upright, grab the juice bottle. Brooks and Carson are crying. In the moment and now I can't help but laugh at the straight CHAOS those 30 seconds were. No one was hurt but man it was funny. Brooks was sad and scared but after he calmed down he thought it was funny too. What a catch for Dan!

This year we decided to have our Easter fun on Saturday so that on Sunday we could truly focus on Christ. So we did baskets and egg hunts in between listening to General Conference and eating cinnamon rolls.

Found this cute paw patrol east kit that B just loved. He had a lot of fun with it.

Lion House rolls

As soon as Carson figured out there were jelly beans inside there was no more hunting, just squatting and shoving them in his mouth.

Playing with new chalk

Treated the boys to some treats from the ice cream man.

Look! I'm getting some tiny tomatoes!

Brook's has been going to Mrs. Stacy's Creekside Nature Preschool once a week and loves it!

Carson went to a baby party and partied a bit took hard, so tired!

This tank top romper is the best, so cute!

Brooks started football! So fun to see him learn and try something new. Dan coaches and they have a good team.

Look at this beauty grow!

Love my boys!

This is how Carson watches TV

Carson knocked out a fence post and tried to escape.

Watching the neighbor mow the lawn... hope he wanted an audience

We bought a new (to us) car! A 2016 Honda Pilot from Carvana. This was our first experience buying a car online and it was great. We had a week to drive it and get it looked at to make sure we loved it. We saved up and paid for it in cash which is the BEST feeling. going from a sedan to this is amazing and there's so much space! I love this car and I'm excited for all the adventures we'll have in it!

We love spotting red cardinals in our backyard!

We also had our first tornado warning of the season. Rotation headed right towards us so we woke the kids up and got in our hallway. B just fell back asleep. Carson was already having a rough night and was pretty mad.
