Working Girl

I've been going through a bunch of my old things as I try to purge all my stuff from my parents house. I have a whole year but thought I might as well get started. It was funny and awesome. I've kept so many things over the years. Some brought great memories, others reminded me of broken promises. All of it made me so grateful for the life and the person I am now. Overall I turned three big boxes into 1 so that's pretty good. Here are some of the random things I found.

photo from Dance Nationals. Reagan and I were the hottest dice everrr

A lollipop from Disneyland I bought from that trip in 2008.
I tried it. It tasted fine, it's just sugar. Then I threw it away.

This is embarassing guys..
a sewing project from 7TH GRADE that I still have not finished. That's EIGHT YEARS AGO. I'm not trying to be a quitter.. but sometimes you just have to let things go...

BUT on other things, you just have to keep going! Like this:
Last year in California

Couple days ago

Current state! All interfaced and stitched together!
Now I just need to figure out how to do the rest...
It's not perfect but I'm so proud and I love it!

Just for the record, I had NO HELP from the cat

 Obviously

In other news, we went to the fair. Oh how I love the fair. Too much bad good? food, lots of things to look at, things to buy and people to see. As we got to the fair the wind started kicking up and our legs were being pelted with sand and twigs. Surprisingly, it hurt! It started to drizzle so we headed into the buildings to look at all the crafts and booths. By the time we made it through there the rain was done dumping and the sun was out. We decided it was dinner time. Dan and I had foot longs and fries. We all shared an onion blossom and it was bomb. We walked around outside and looked at all the booths. My favorite part? The animals! The petting zoo and looking at all the show animals.

Sometimes I feel like animals are very relateable. Let me show you

We all know that one guy who's trying to be some one they're not

The person that hates the world

That guy that tries waaayyy too hard to get the girl

When TWO guys are trying to get the same girl... c'mon...

And honestly... sometimes when I come home from work, I feel like this

See? Animals are so relateable.

The fair was awesome and we got some sweet BSU get up because I have none.

Dan and I couldn't resist taking these cute pictures...

As of late I have a new contact routine
It's cool because it makes bubbles. Other than that I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing

Dan and I had lunch at Which Wich
It was so delicious, I would recommend it!
We went to lunch because we were celebrating the fact that
I GOT A JOB

Whoo Hoo!
Happy Dance!

I will be working at a local credit union! I'm pretty stoked. The atmosphere and the values of the company seem awesome. I was actually constantly stressing for a week after my interview to hear back. When I heard from them I had given up all hope that I'd be offered the job so I was STOKED when they said they wanted me. I'm super excited.

I had to complete a drug test, as with a lot of jobs, but can I just say peeing in a cup is freakin hard! Seriously, give me a funnel! Please tell me that I am not the only one that struggles with this?

Friday night Brookee came and stayed with us. Her, my mom and I went on a search to get everything to finish my quilt so that was fun.

ANNNDD this weekend is Mine and Dan's FIRST ANNIVERSARY! Whoo hoo! I'm super stoked for our plans and a relaxing weekend before I start work. Man has is already been a year? It flew by! But it's been the best year. Being married is honestly the best and I picked one of the best with Dan the Man. He is amazing.

Random Story
As you read, we camped with a bunch of wasps but there were also some honeybees periodically flying around too. I don't mind honeybees, they're not aggressive, they potentate the plants, they make honey and they can't sting you multiple times like wasps can. ANYWAYS I was swatting some wasps away one day and when they were finally gone I relaxed and looked down to brush my jacket off. I see this.

Sitting a little lower than my collar bone, but he looked THIS BIG. Although I'm not scared of honeybees having THIS FACE THIS CLOSE to me. It popped out of no where. And he's all like 'Hey.'
I broke the decibel level appropriate for quiet time and did a mix between the happy dance and the I have to pee dance while trying to get it off me. I'm sure that bee thought he was so funny. That prankster.
