First Anniversary!

First of allI can't believe I forgot to post this photo

Moving on

It was our Anniversary on Sunday! One whole year! Man I remember when we first got married and seeing those couples that have been married for a year thinking, 'Yeah they got it all figured out!' I now realize that we all can just fake it really well and keep it together in public, am I right? But seriously, that year flew by- probably because it was spent with my favorite person.

For our celebratory Saturday we started out with a day at the water park! It has been a couple years since I've been but it was so fun! They had two new rides since I had been last and they ended up being my favorite and my least favorite. My least favorite was their newest one where you stand up and the floor drops from under you and you slide down this huge steep slide in like four seconds! I did it once, but it was terrifying and I got water in my brain. We got there right when it opened so we got to ride all the ride before lines. Between rides was spent relaxing in the river, wave pool or laying in the warm sun.

We got lunch there and it was also quite delicious.
I'm a sucker for fries though

After the water park we went to our hotel to relax and get ready for dinner! PF Chang's which is always a treat and a delightful time. We have never been disappointed when we go there and it's so tasty!

They were awesome and gave us a free dessert of our choice for our anniversary! I tried to take a picture of it but it was too dark. It was seven layer chocolate cake. YUM!

After that we promptly fell into a food coma. It was so delicious. We spent the evening relaxing, not thinking about his school or my work starting, just talked and we even went swimming again in the hotel's pool. It was so perfect and relaxing. Together we decided no gifts so I got things for the both of us. We sipped our sparkling cider while munching on See's chocolates and watching a slideshow I put together for your first wedding anniversary.

I tried to upload the slideshow I made but I can't seem to figure it out, maybe I'll post it in the future. It's super cute though!

I am so lucky and so happy to have Dan the Man as my husband. He's a great person and always encourage me to be better. Couldn't have chosen a better man!

This post is kind of late but a lot is going on- Dan started school and I started my new job! It's going great!
