Grades are out...
Because I signed up for every birthday deal possible, Dan and I just had to use my free Tucanos meal! I haven't been there in a while and wow, it was delicious! I could eat that pineapple all day, every day.
We went and played tennis and that was fun! Its funny to see the difference between Meridian and Rexburg. In rexburg there are about 14 courts to play on in that town. Meridian... I could only think of 5? Maybe? I don't know where they are! Anyways, the weather was nice and cloudy which was perfect because it would have been super hot otherwise!
I begged Dan to play chess with me the other night. I only want to play chess like once every year and a half. I come to find out later that Dan hates chess with a passion. Oops haha. He was a good sport though. Then we play Yahtzee and he got a yahtzee except he had already zeroed out his yahtzee square, bummer! Still funny though.
This is how the cat looks at Dan
They're not the best of friends
I forgot to mention last weekend that we had Parker and Stephanie over for some awesome dutch oven cake. Mmm the cake was so rich and it was fun to see them and catch up!
Grades are out.
Okay so I thought that I had received 5 A's and 1 A- but grades came out today and some how I got an A in epidemiology!! I don't know if my teacher always rounds up or if he helped me out because he knew I was so close. I had a 92.75 and a 93 is an A. Woo hoo! I'm pretty excited! I worked hard and it paid off! That's three semesters in a row with straight A's!
Thursday night we went boating! We invited Parker and Stephanie and we had a great... adventure? We went up to Lucky Peak and it was a beautiful day! Hardly anyone there too. It was awesome. Lots of water skiing, wakeboarding and tubing.
After a while of that we stopped and had a little picnic on the back of the boat. That's when things got weird. A big gust of wind came and we all hopped over our food to keep it from blowing away. We got to recuperate for about 15 seconds. Then this crazy wind storm happened. It all happened so quickly. Grabbing food, grabbing bags, putting things away, the tub flying and hitting me, tons of dirt being blown off the cliffs above us, the water being sprayed like aerosol everywhere. It was weird. We quickly put everything away as quickly as we could, grab the tube (that wouldn't stay anywhere) and made our way back to the dock. Well docking with that amount of wind was fun. Kind of difficult but we worked it out somehow. But like my dad said, it wouldn't be a family outing unless we had some sort of adventure!
The rest of the week was filled with relaxing, temple sessions and shopping with my mom. This weekend Stephanie is coming over to teach us how to make delicious asian food! We're pretty excited. And then we're leaving for Colorado in three days! I'm pretty stoked.
