It feels like Brooks has been 4 for a while because of how mature he acts sometimes. He surprises me with how kind and thoughtful he can be for only being 3. He's made me cry from the sweet and tender prayers he'll say on behalf of someone else. He is very goofy and silly and loves to make others laugh. He can also be very quiet and shy in a new situation. He hesitant to try new things especially if there's a risk of getting hurt. He doesn't like to be told what to do and would rather try something new without an audience when HE decides to. He's not a fan of big roller coasters but likes the smaller ones (like the back and forth pirate ship).

He sleeps all night every night except for the random wakeups or bathroom trips. His nap is hit or miss right now. I'd say he falls asleep 4/7 days right now. When he can't sleep he can read or play quietly in his room. By the end of the year I bet he'll drop his nap completely and we'll do quiet time instead. We've have our fair share of age appropriate tantrums but usually Brooks is a very thoughtful and well behaved kid. We love Brooks so much and the joy he brings to our family!
EDITED TO ADD:
His dr.'s visit went well and his pediatrician is so impressed with his development and mannerisms. She gushed with how coordinated he is and how observant and aware he is. She's seen him and Carson grow up and she said, "It just seems like you have really good boys." and I do!!
