General

Brooks is such a happy, fun loving and goofy kid. He brings so much joy to our lives and always keeps us laughing. He is ALL boy and loves cars, trucks, sports, balls, dirt, mud, bugs and being rough & tumble. He is saying so many words I've lost count and says a new one daily. He loves learning names and showing off his new skills to me. He's so busy and fun but also is very sweet and tender. He loves to play 'Get you' and thinks spitting and farting are funny. He's not potty trained but likes to sit on it and sometimes goes.

Diet & Sleep

Brooks eats most things (unless it's a vegetable) but I've never had to worry about his eating. He loves fruit, yogurt, cheese, cereal (yells CER-RAL! at the store), beans, peanut butter and all types of meat. His favorite treats are fruit snacks and honestly... anything!

Brooks is an awesome sleeper and sleeps 12 hours (7:30) every night. A month before he turned two he started crying at bedtime and waking up in the night- to the point where I would have to go in to calm him. This lasted for a week then everything went back to normal. He naps for 1-2 hour around noon and is very regular with his sleep schedule. It's very rare when we'd have to get up for him.

The things I hope I never forget is how he says, "hea-VY!" when he's carrying something or he grunts and says, "HARRD!" when he's having a difficult time. He loves to talk about Elmo, Big Bird, the moon and stars, he loves reading the scriptures and seeing pictures of Alma and Moroni ("ni-ni"). He loves to make people laugh and will do something on repeat if it's entertaining. He's way more coordinated with a ball (already!) than I am. He currently says "Butt" instead of "button" so that makes my life interesting sometimes. He is so sweet and we love our B so much! Happy Birthday Brooks!!
